Position Overview:
As a Forklift Warehouse Worker, you will be a vital member of our warehouse operations team, responsible for the movement, storage, and handling of materials and products using various types of forklifts and other equipment. Your attention to detail, safety awareness, and teamwork will contribute to the overall success of our operations.
Key
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other equipment to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
- Safely stack and organize products in designated storage areas, ensuring efficient space utilization.
- Assist in receiving, inspecting, and documenting incoming shipments accurately.
- Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling products according to orders.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and update records to ensure accuracy.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols, maintaining a clean and hazard-free work environment.
- Report any equipment malfunctions, accidents, or safety hazards to supervisors promptly.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator&s;s license/certification.
- Proven experience as a forklift operator in a warehouse setting.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management.
- Attention to detail with the ability to accurately follow instructions.
- Safety-conscious mindset and awareness of proper handling procedures.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and documentation.
