Lead continuous improvement activities to support sustainable reliability and increased efficiency.
What your day will look like:
Plan, coordinate and perform electrical & instrumentation related maintenance activities, including routine corrective maintenance, preventive maintenance, equipment, and system improvementsPerform routine instrument calibration and corrective/preventive maintenance on instrument equipment and control systems.
Duties include calibration of temperature, pressure, level, flow, and analytical devicesInstall, program, maintain, troubleshoot, repair and service programmable logic controllers, variable frequency drives and electrical support systemsMaintain detailed documentation of all plant electrical & control systems, instrument calibration records and related dataSupport team members on all aspects of the operation, provide coaching, mentoring, and training to other technicians and team membersLead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to ensure plant maintains a high level of efficiency and reliabilityRepairs or replaces defective partsWhat you need to succeed:
Minimum age 18 years oldPersonal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by position and compliance with UNITED safety policiesRegular and prompt attendance is an essential function of the jobAbility to read, write and speak English Ability to maintain a neat professional appearance within Company guidelinesAbility to maintain safety and security of Company assetsAbility to utilize all Company provided resources and technologyHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceFive (5) years' experience with electronic instrumentation, variable frequency drivers and logic control systemsExperience troubleshooting, repairing, and calibrating various types of electronic and pneumatic instrumentation devicesExperience troubleshooting, repairing, and developing programmable logic controller (PLC) and Human Machine Interface (HMI) programsExperience with network and data management systemsWillingness to work weekends, holidays, or flexible schedule as requiredAbility to collaborate with other team members Ability to teach other members of teamAbility to be innovative and self-motivatedEffective organizational skills, attention to detail, and time managementEffective problem-solving skillsFrequent sitting and overhead reachingRepeated exposure to water and noiseCCBCU is an Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Veterans/Disabled.

$22 per hour.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
