Responsibilities:
Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to create CNC programs.
Set up and configure CNC machines, tools, and equipment for optimal performance.
Write, modify, and optimize CNC programs to achieve desired outcomes.
Collaborate with engineers and machinists to troubleshoot and resolve any programming or machining issues.
Perform regular maintenance on CNC machines to ensure their accuracy and reliability.
Monitor production processes and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency.
Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
Maintain accurate records of programs, tooling, and setups.
Stay up-to-date with advancements in CNC programming and machining techniques.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical degree or certification preferred.
Proven experience as a CNC Programmer, with in-depth knowledge of CNC programming languages (G-code, M-code, etc.
).
Proficiency in using CAD/CAM software for program generation.
Strong understanding of machining processes, tool selection, and machine setup.
Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
